I had suffered from frequent headaches for several years. Sometimes they would last for 2-3 days. I would take Excedrin to help with the pain, and it did help but it also left me jittery from all the caffeine and I didn’t like that.
The last 3 day headache I had was my breaking point. I couldn’t stand it any longer and was at work, I googled massage therapists in the area and came across Absolute Chiropractic/ Massage Therapy. When I called and explained my situation I asked if I should get a massage or actually see the chiropractor. I was told I should see the Dr and they set me up for an appointment that same morning. I was pretty skeptical, my back didn’t hurt at all but I was willing to try anything to get rid of the headaches.
I can honestly say that since my first adjustment I have never had a headache like the ones I experienced in the past. I didn’t realize what I had done to my body by sitting at a computer all day long, 5 days a week. I was taught how to stretch during the day and what I need to do to keep my body and muscles from getting so stiff.

I have been going to Dr. Cait for over a decade, and can’t speak highly enough of how well I’ve been taken care of at her practice. I’ve been to several other chiropractors over the years, and while some were quite good, none of them went to the extent AHC did for giving me proactive things to help minimize how much I needed to be adjusted (stretches, orthotics, exercises, etc etc).
I trust Dr. Cait implicitly, and have not hesitated to refer people to her time and again.

I have been visiting the office for monthly maintenance for 3 years +. It’s always fast and very thorough and I feel tremendous when I leave the office. It’s been amazing preventative back therapy. When I slack with my own routine and “throw out” my back, the recovery is very quick by making a couple of adjustments in that week.
I wish I still lived in Portland so I could continue coming here.
