Staying healthy this holiday season

As the holiday season creeps up on us, starting with Halloween of course, life starts to get a little busier! We often see that patients try and move around or push out their appointments due to family visiting, travels, get togethers and parties that pop up. While we all know that sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day, these are the most important times to get adjusted!

With all of the travelling, moving around boxes of decorations and raking leaves, you’ll want to keep up with your adjustments so that you don’t lose any of the progress you’ve made. Also, when we are busy and stressed our immune systems can take the hit and no one wants to spend the holidays sick!  In addition, all of the candy, cookies and special treats depress our immune system for up to 24 hours after eating them!

So whether you are hanging up lights, making a whole Thanksgiving dinner for twelve or getting ready to travel across state lines, make sure you come in to get adjusted first to keep you feeling your best.  As always, if you have any difficulty scheduling be sure to let us know and we will do our best to find a time that works well for you.
